SMS and SMMS materials are suitable for steam, gas (using ethylene oxide and formaldehyde), plasma and radiation sterilization. The multilayer structure of these materials (three-layer SMS material or four-layer SMMS material), produced on the basis of polypropylene fibers, guarantees increased tensile strength of the material, puncture and moisture resistance.
