Bags are made for packaging of heavy and sharp medical devices before sterilization in order to preserve the sterility of these products after sterilization during their subsequent transportation and storage prior to their intended use.

DGM Steriguard® bags meet the requirements for medical sterilization packaging materials GOST ISO 11607 "Packaging for terminally sterilized medical devices" and European standard EN 868 "Packaging materials and systems for sterilized medical devices":
permeable for appropriate sterilizing agents
impermeable for microorganisms (provided that the rules for closing the packages when packing the products prepared for sterilization, sterilization regimes, conditions and storage periods are observed)
retain their appearance (except for the color of indicators printed on the packaging) after sterilization by an appropriate method
They are classified into two types - self-sealing and for thermosealing machines.
